Good Conversation......

Sometimes we think our children need to be coddled, nursed, or even protected when they don't . As parents we must understand that parenting is not all about keeping our children happy. So when we don't face issues head on that we have with our children, those same issues can grow into life challenges for them. Tough love...not abuse...lol, is very important and is a needed discipline that helps to correct behavior issues and allow our children to become independent people. So sugar coating and making excuses for why our children do things that they should not, facilitates the problem and helps it to persist longer. We don't have to do everything for our children!!! Let them develop their own strengths and weaknesses, not ones that we create by doing everything for them. Stop that cycle now, before its too late! And you have reached the level of stress that brings you to your knees.. !! Seriously, love lots p...

As moms, moguls, divas, entrepreneurs, wives or just us plain Jane's; we are busy as women of today. We often take very little time for ourselves. Whether its taking care of kids, event planning or getting ready for a power meeting we have almost no time if any to take a deep breath and clear our minds. I have come to the conclusion that without out a meditation session or just a day of home stay can leave us near our wits end or even worse, post nervous breakdown. Take a break , listen to your body when it tells you that you need to rest. Listen to your mind when you start to ramble your thoughts. Its  OK , especially since in order to conquer all that you dream of, you must be sane, of appropriate health and fired up to do it all....so "I say love yourself enough to enjoy a little of YOUR life". till Next time! I guess the real deal about being a parent is that its an experience! You get better with time! I really don't know anyone who can say that they started out as an expert parent! We all have to start some where! Ohh, poor first child Jk...lol Any who just sharing my time with Jr and how I was his accomplice in taking over the world! MUhahahaha...in my evil voice~~~ lol
